Vietnam sees increase of 25% in tourists from ASEAN

Since early this year, a number of tourists from ASEAN countries traveling to Vietnam has increased by 21%, surpassing the growth of 10.6% in the total number of international tourists to Vietnam.

The sharp increase is attributed to the more favourable land traffic system linking Vietnam with Laos and Cambodia, the shortened procedures on entering Vietnam, thus increasing the number of the tourists coming by land.
