A delegation of Vietnamese young artists, headed by artist Tri Minh, will join the Electronic Music Festival held in Koln, Germany on August 14th, and in Berlin, on August 20th.
The festival, held under the “Electronic Music from Southeast Asia, Austria and New Zealand” project implemented over the past three years, known as the “Asia-Pacific Plate”, is organized by the Goethe Institute and the C/O POP Festival.
This is the second year Vietnamese artists have taken part in the project.
Together with 1,000 artists from over 16 European countries and 16 other countries, Vietnamese artists will take part in performances, exchanges and seminars on electronic music during the festival.
In addition to Tri Minh’s electronic music performances, Vietnamese artists will also play national musical instruments and scratchings.
Vietnamese electronic music along with contemporary style has now become professional, with rising international figures including musicians Tri Minh, Vu Nhat Tan, Nguyen Van Cuong.
