Miss World 2010 to be held in Vietnam?

The ten-day survey and charity visit to Vietnam by Miss World 2007 Zhang Zi Lin and Miss World Organisation Chairwoman Julia Morley is said to be the first bricks to build the foundation for Miss World 2010 pageant in Vietnam.


 

The visit is taking place from June 28 to July 9 in several provinces of Vietnam including Hcm city Hanoi Quang Ninh, etc.

 

During the charity visit to Soc Son district, Hanoi, Hoang Kieu, Chairman of RAAS Company, the sponsor of this 10-day visit, revealed a plan to organise the Miss World 2010 pageant in Vietnam, which was confirmed by Miss World Organisation Chairwoman Julia Morley.

 

Kieu said that a contract on organsing the pageant in Vietnam could be signed on September 9 and Nha trang would be chosen as the destination for the event.

 

On July 7, Miss World 2007 Zhang Zi Lin attended the inauguration ceremony of a charity class and presented scholarships to poor pupils in Cu Chi district, HCM City. Today, July 8, she will participate in a ceremony during which 100 houses will be presented to needy people in the southern province of Tien Giang.

 

Tomorrow, July 9, she will pay a visit to the HCM City HIV/AIDS Control Centre and present VND500 million to the centre to Train 30 staffs and call on the Thien Phuoc Centre.

 

The Mrs. World 2009 pageant will be organised in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
